I recently designed a ring for my big sister's birthday. She knows I work in 3d printing and design but has no idea what can be made with precious metals like silver. This piece is not directly 3d printed, but instead when I ordered it from Kraftwurx.com they first 3d print a wax copy of the ring. That "cast-able wax" is then used by a traditional jeweler to cast the final silver or gold ring. Check out the photos of the completed and shipped ring. My sister loved it!
