Good afternoon!

I've recently found my way into the world of 3D modeling and I'm trying to expand my horizons into the 3D printing world too.

I've made a business card and tried to upload it to kraftwurx, but after it finishes the upload, it tells me "the model is not a solid" or something like that.
I've checked it with netfabb and it says the model is ok.

If someone can take a few minutes to help me with this, I'd appreciate it a lot. I'm a beginner in this world and it's probably just a rookie mistake or something..

Hello luistarrafa,

The Model is not solid error means the mesh has a hole or possibly duplicate polygon faces. You can try re-exporting the model in another format and re-trying upload, or you can submit the model for diagnostics if the upload is rejected.

When the site rejects a model, it gives you the option to submit the model to diagnostics. I recommend submitting it if the site finds any errors with the mesh.

I have submitted the model for diagnostics, but I haven't had any feedback on it.

The model is closed, and has no duplicate geometry. I was careful with that, and checked it after on netfabb just to make sure.

I guess I'll just wait for an answer from diagnostics :\

You really make it appear really easy together with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be really one thing which I feel I might by You don't understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very vast for me.
