Hello,
I'm trying to find out whether it is possible to 3D print a watertight structure (for example a hollow sphere). I know that many of the materials such as acrylic, ABS, or any of the metals are waterproof in theory but I am worried that the porosity introduced during the 3D printing process will allow water to leak through supposedly "solid" walls. Is there a material where this would not be an issue, possibly something like cast aluminum, glass-infused nylon, or nylon 12?
Thanks for your help.
